For my friend . My lovely wife was kind enough to pose to give scale to the aircraft. I have 4 ea. F4U Corsairs, 1 ea, F6F Hellcat, 1 ea. Mitsubishi Zero, 1 ea. P-38 Lightning, 1 ea. TBF Avenger and the star of this collection is of course my F-14A VF-84 "Jolly Rogers" Tomcat.
Additional info: the P-38 is a replica of "Putt Putt Maru", The Zero is a replica of the first Zero shot down at Pearl Harbor, I have 2 corsairs representing Pappy Boyington aircraft, 1 corsair is a replica of "Marines Dream", the last corsair is a replica of "Daisy Jeane". The TBF Avenger is Aircraft 28 of the fateful "flight 19" fame.
Photos of number 200: [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] and the nose art on it: [link] Looks like you already faved them. Photo taken at the Pacific Coast Air Museum in Santa Rosa CA in 2010 . I took some more photos of this aircraft this year but have not posted them yet. The markings appear very similar, your model has some sort of camouflage(?) marking. Also you have the missiles, the one at the museum was missing its missiles and engines. Which is probably a good thing with people like me around, trying to figure out how to get in the cockpit and pressing switches until something happens.
Now you have inspired me to go to the hobby shop to look at some models. It has been years since I built any, but I had a Corsair, a Hellcat and a Lightning and a Billy Mitchell bomber and some others. I built a model of the Forrestal CV-59 carrier and the USS Missouri along with a couple of cruisers and destroyers. My own battle fleet.
Tell your wife she is lovely, and very patiently putting up with the big boy toys - looks like you have her surrounded!
