Gee Bee Replica

OK here's a look at aviation history. This is a replica of the famous Gee Bee racer, the only aircraft to be flown successfully by Jimmy Doolittle. This aircraft was notorious for killing any pilot who attemped to fly her to her top speed until Jimmy Doolittle took the controls. This photograph was taken in 1996 in Kissimmee, Florida at the Kissimmee Airshow.
