The frame and text is really distracting but other than that this is a fantastic capture ^^

The frame and text serve two purposes, The frame is for digital display on the computer screen. The text is like a water mark that is not across the image. I don't trust everyone on the web to be honest.

Thank you for your feedback and thanks for viewing the image.

I can't adequately explain what it's like to be 3.5 miles away from the pad when liftoff occurs.

Fantastic, and I mean fantastic, capture. It is remarkable, the clarity. I was there as well, and have a photo or two from that one and the previous launch, if you'd like to see 'em.

It reminds me of a pencil, if you look at it from a bit of a distance.

Cool.

Oh man, one of these days I'm going to have to see a launch in person instead of on my lame TV. Oh well. I love the transition between the flames and the smoke. It really does look like it's cutting through the sky.
